Appointments and Promotions Workshop

At least once a year the Office of Faculty and Academic Affairs will host virtual workshops that introduces the tracks, the appointment and promotion application process, as well as the resources available to all GUMC Faculty.  

You are also welcome to request a presentation for your department or office by emailing ofaa@georgetown.edu.  Please see below for our upcoming workshops.

Upcoming Workshops

Leadership from the Office of Faculty and Academic Affairs (OFAA) and the Committee on Appointments and Promotions (CAP) will be hosting workshops for anyone interested in appointments, promotions, or mentoring. Presenters will discuss criteria for appointment and promotion on the respective tracks, outline the process to apply, and discuss Faculty Development options.
