All faculty within the Georgetown University Medical Center are evaluated on an annual basis. Based on their annual evaluations, achievements, and accomplishments, individual faculty members or departments may be awarded for their efforts and excellency. The goal of the Annual Faculty Performance Review process is to provide a meaningful assessment of faculty productivity, promote the development of goals and expectations, foster and support faculty development and mentorship, and guide junior faculty in career advancement through formative discussions with senior faculty and the Department Chair/Division or Program Director. Please note, this process only applies to university-employed faculty.
